We have a session web site online from a wedding that we shot last weekend in Placentia. With a bit of planning, a lot of hard work and another fistfull of money spent on equipment, we’ve managed to get the turnaround time (from shooting to delivery of proofs) down to less than a week. Now we’ve just got to try to keep that up for the next four months!

Anyhow, I’m delighted to say that Jill loves her pictures and has asked for a second set of prints for her mother.
We’ve also changed our Photo Disc / Transfer of Copyright package a bit.

With our style of coverage, Jennifer and I have always produced a good few more images than what is guaranteed in each package, and it’s always been hard to pick out just that number of pictures. So, we’ve made a permanent change and from now on will be giving clients that purchase Transfer of Copyright all of these additional picks. Of course there’s no additional charge and it’s available to all clients from this point on, including those that have already confirmed with a deposit.
Two more weddings this weekend. Stay tuned.

A session web site for the shoot we did with Aldena just under a week ago has been put online. This is a new girl that we’ve not worked with before. We had a quick change of plans during one part of the shoot (someone literally “put up a fence” at one of the locations! …oh well) but the weather co-operated and she did a great job.
Gallery coming up in a bit.
The Jenna shoot from Thursday also went well. We got a lot of pictures, and I’m having a hard time picking my favorites - as usual, Jenna did a fantastic job. I’m hoping to get to that session by Wednesday, so I should have something online by next weekend. It may be longer though, as it’s getting crazy busy and this is literally the last non-wedding job that we’ll be doing for awhile.
On a side note, we had some other photographer show up at that shoot - he was obviously a pro, and sorta snaking around in the background sneaking shots - well within his rights certainly, but sorta sleazy if you ask me. These shoots take a lot of creative thought on the part of Jennifer, myself and our unnamed minion, so how about if we all try to come up with our own ideas, hun?
As for weddings, the weather was bad this weekend. That didn’t stop us from getting several hundred nice candid shots on Friday. After using a new technique to select and edit pictures which ensures that all the good shots are used (we’ve dubbed it the “No Good Picture Left Behind Program”), we had it narrowed down to just over 500. I guess it worked a little too well, but I’m sure the clients will love it. I’m pretty sure we covered the hell out of that thing. They’ve bought the whole package, so the session web site will be online later this week.

We put a session web site online from Saturday’s wedding in CBS. Michelle and Russ were married at their house in the garden. It was a bright day and we had plenty of opportunity to use natural light.

It was a relatively short shoot, but Jennifer and I got a good few candid pictures.
We also did a modeling shoot with a new girl, Aldena. Her gallery and session will be online here in the next few days.
There’s another shoot with Jenna that we quickly arranged for tomorrow as well. We’re reviving an idea that we had planned to use a few weeks ago that didn’t pan out. Stay tuned.

We just added a new modeling gallery from the shoot we did Wednesday with Michael. I love these pictures, and he did a great job. We had a bit of fun with the locations and lighting in this shoot and I think it worked out really well.

The complete session will be online in a day or so.
Jennifer and myself are off to shoot a wedding today. It’s a beautiful day, so we’re hoping to get a lot of nice stuff. We should be adding more galleries to the wedding site in the next little while. Stay tuned.

So we’ve added a few new galleries and session web sites.
The new galleries are in Family and Corporate.

Link: Corporate Gallery Four, Ewe Design with Denise and Kim.
The new session web sites are related to the above galleries, and one from a gallery a few days ago.

We’ve got an interesting shoot scheduled for tomorrow, sorta theatrical in concept. It’ll be with a new male model, Mike. He’ll be giving Bennan some company on the modeling page - as you can see it’s dominated mainly by beautiful women. :)
This will be among the last round of updates specific to this site for awhile, as the wedding season is about to go into full swing. I’ll still make it known here though when new wedding stuff is added…

I’ve added captions for more of the galleries in the Travel section. I think I missed one gallery, but I’ll get back to that in the next few days.

On another note, I’m really excited to have been working on a commercial project during this past week. It’s for Ewe Design, a local company that makes some really nice knitwear. I’ll be adding a gallery from those shoots sometime during the week.
I also had the opportunity to work with a new model, Kim Hearn, who happens to be a dancer. We’ll be adding some pictures in her traditional ballet outfit in the next few days. She did a great job and I’m really pleased with how they came out.
