We did a modeling-style shoot today for a contestant of the Miss Teen Newfoundland Pageant.

I’m looking forward to having more time for modeling shoots in the upcoming weeks and months. I ran into one of the girls we’ve shot before and, upon reviewing her pictures again, decided that she did an excellent job but I was a little unhappy with some of the technical aspects of my work. Lucky for me, she’s up for another shoot, so we’ll come up with a new concept and give it another go in a month or two.

I’m also thinking about calling a brief moratorium on studio shoots. We’ve been a little too heavy on them lately and they’re sorta getting boring. They also tend to rely too heavily on the subject and present less of a challenge for the photographer. I’m thinking the next few will be on location for awhile.
