Bowring Park is boring
Don’t get me wrong – Bowring Park is great for wedding pictures.
But if you consider yourself “non-traditional”, just say no.
That’s what Erin and Craig did. Now, as far as non-traditional goes, they’re pretty advanced. They got married on Sunday… in the morning… on the beach. Just before that, we met them at Signal Hill at 9am sharp. We took a run around to some of the typical places, but after that was out-of-the-way, we stopped on Water Street and popped into a pub. And that’s when the pictures started to get interesting.
Honestly, I mean if the place you’ve selected for wedding pics already has the grass trampled by the couple that just left, you have to ask yourself “Is this what I want?”. As your photographers, we’re more than willing to try something new. This has actually happened to us several times lately – our usual haunts have caught on, so we’re moving on.
The point is this – if you consider yourself non-traditional, consider at least one non-traditional spot.

Hey Kim!
Craig and I just had a peek at some of the pictures you have posted…we cannot tell you how happy we are, already, without even seeing the entire set of pictures you and Jen took!!!
We wanted to say thank you and let you know that you both really made our day that much more wonderful and fun! We went into this without ideas from magazines or any other outside input and I am sure that on that cold, windy day, people were sure to think we were crazy doing all of this outside – but yourself and Jen just went right along with us, not one complaint of the cold or wind, and seemed to have just as much fun as we did! We really wanted to make the day a reflection of who we are and not get too caught up in the fuss and frills that come along with most weddings…you helped us pull it off! You gals are amazing!
Thanks again – we had such a blast!!
