It’s difficult to come up with something that’s not already been done with the rings. Generally speaking, “detail” shots had already been excluded from my recent project, but here’s a few that I grabbed during the review that I thought would make an interesting post.

We shot Nathan on the weekend.

It was a bit of an odd situation, as I didn’t really know beforehand how old the subject was or if it was a boy or girl – I just knew “baby”. That left me scrambling for props once we got started.

On the cover of the Herald this week is Sabrina Jenkins, Miss Newfoundland and Labrador 2007.

We shot this a few weeks ago and had a really good time. I’ve worked with Sabrina before – she’s very relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera.

It’s funny though… When I seen the shot, I didn’t even recognise it as one of mine. It’s been cropped and edited heavily. I especially like the artificial “twinkle” they added on her ring. Really nice.

What game, you ask?

We popped down to the St. John’s Downtown Christmas Parade on Sunday.

Weddings

I basically have two tiers of pricing for non-wedding and non-commercial clients. Sessions can be done in studio or on location, depending on your needs.

One Hour Session (with Digital Negatives Only)

$100.00 plus HST.

This package is suited to a Modeling Shoot. It covers a subject (one person) for about an hour and includes high-res files on disc. This is the perfect option for those just getting started in modeling and provides the subject with an assortment of shots at minimal cost.

One Hour Session (with Digital Negatives and Prints)

$200.00 plus HST.

This is the same as the above session, with the exception that it covers up to two people, it adds printed 4×6 proofs (as well as high-res files on disc), and includes a pre-paid package of enlargements (a selection of 8×10, 11×14, etc. depending on what the client wants). Generally this is suited to Grad and Engagement Shoots.

Note that I reserve the right to take only those clients that I choose to shoot. Also, there is a travel fee for locations outside the City of St. John’s – please ask for a quote.
