Winter Road Trip Two

I seem to have a fascination with anything old – the more decrepit the better.
I also gain courage when I have my camera in hand… maybe I just hide behind it. I’m able to approach just about anyone, walk waist deep snow, jump fences and become immune to all that ails me. Sometimes I’ll find scratches and bruises days after a shoot.
So when we headed out the other day I was shocked when my buddies didn’t dare approach another living entity… whaaaa? I especially like chatting it up with the old skippers. Just bat your lashes and smile… well, it works for me. The guys didn’t seem up for that though.
Here’s a few more – just scenic – but that’s where it all started.

the last one is beautiful
Beautiful pictures, I too love the old and decrepit. It must be the fear of rejection that prevents the “guys” from approaching other living entities!! Plus our lashes are not as appealing to fishermen.
Where did you take a picture of the barn? I swear I have the same barn, but it was taken 2 years ago so it’s slightly less dilapidated!
I’m not sure of the community – we actually got lost for a little while on the side roads and we were not entirely sure that we had found Route 60 again. I think it’s somewhere around here, just past Harbour Main.
Where was your shot taken?
I’m going to look back through my pictures and see if I can find it. The picture I took was in Hr. Main. If you are driving through, it’s just past the Red Circle on the right side, just before you go down over the windy hill past the tide.
wow Kim crazy how clear that picture is!
