I haven’t done a maternity shoot in ages and was excited when Aldena mentioned the possibility – I jumped at the chance. I’d done a modeling shoot with her before, and knew she was exceptionally comfortable in front of the camera.

Now I’d literally done about a hundred of these in the past, but that was at the “old place”, so they hold copyright on the lot. My portfolio in that area would be mind blowing if only I could get permission to use those files – not likely to happen.

It’s sorta like the kid stuff too. Back there, I had done a group shot of two year old quintuplets – not only were they all looking at the camera, they were all smiling! Whew!

How do you achieve something like this you may ask? Simply by being a fool. You just hold that camera thingy at the ready while also swooping a giant stuffed frog in on one of the children and screaming… “I’m gonna get ya! Who’s next?!”
