MUN Chapel

Published by Kim at 10:09 am under Weddings

I’ve yet to come across anything quite so hard to light as the chapel at MUN. Anyone have any tips for dark ceilings, massives wood beams, zero windows and low ambient light?

Please share!

It looks well lit to me, did you use lights? I always dread those kind of chapels.

Looks like you did a great job lighting to me. I HATE the church’s that have big beautiful windows but florescent lights above the alter, my white balance has a shit fit.

….but I also have alot less equipment than you do, haha.

I used two studio lights, no choice! It’s so hard when there’s nothing too bounce off of.

Nice work Kim! I shot in a very similar place this weekend and had my iso so high even with a flash, that I thought my camera might explode. The lighting you rigged up looks great…that’s the tough part about you being so good: you make it LOOK easy :-)
