When I awoke this morning, I looked out my kitchen window to see a big pile of wood stacked on the side of the road – it was a little bit of the bay, right smack dab in the middle of the city.

On the way out for the day, I asked the by’s if I could photograph them loading their trucks. Ever seen those Jack Daniel’s spots that are running now on TV? That was sorta my inspiration.
